Insights, exchange and common goals for empowering the German Armed Forces
This year’s BWI Industry Days in Berlin provided an exciting platform for dialogue on digital transformation and the future direction of the Bundeswehr. Numerous topics from the areas of defence, digitalisation and empowerment were discussed – always with the clear aim of enabling the Bundeswehr to perform its tasks faster, more efficiently and more securely.
As an official BWI supplier, it was particularly valuable for us to engage in dialogue with visitors, partners and service providers. Many discussions centred on the question of how companies can work together to support the Bundeswehr in the long term and strengthen it with innovative solutions.
A key topic was our role as a provider of the instructor and authoring suite for the German Armed Forces. This solution enables digital learning content to be created and distributed efficiently, securely and in high quality. The range of possible applications for this production platform became clear during the direct dialogue. It ranges from basic training to advanced training and highly specialised training scenarios. It was particularly exciting to see how many areas the suite will have an impact on and what contribution it can make to the long-term empowerment of the troops.
In addition to the discussions, the congress also offered numerous insights into the overarching challenges that can only be mastered through close cooperation between partners, service providers and institutions. This networking concept showed once again how important it is to think about innovation and cooperation together.
Not only did we gain valuable impressions, we also took away important ideas for the further development of our work.
